Let folks know that I’ll be on the ballot this November and that we have your support! Simple name recognition is essential for us to flip this seat. During a presidential election year, there will be a lot of people who vote for the President, but don’t vote down ballot.
Some towns have tried to restrict display of political yard signs on residential property. However the US Supreme Court ruled in 1994 that such restrictions are unconstitutional. Note the ruling only applies to residential property - the CT Department of Transportation has made it clear that they will remove signs placed on their property.
